To add a product type
| 2. | On the top menu, click Product Types under Merchandise. The Product Types page is displayed listing all the available product types in the storefront |
| 3. | Click Add New Product Type. The Add Product Type page is displayed |
| 4. | Enter the following details: |
| • | Product Type Name: Enter a name for the product type (ex: “Shoes”) |
| • | Display Order: Enter a numeric value. This determines the order in which this item is displayed. |
| • | Enter a Description: Enter an optional description for this type. This is for internal use only. |
| 5. | Click Submit. The Product Types page is displayed. The newly added product type is displayed in the list. |
Important: Immediately after adding a product type, it must be associated to its attribute types.
