Catalog

The Catalog section allows the site administrator to manage the product catalog. You can add products, categories, brands, promotions and product variations using the Catalog.

For the purposes of the catalog you can think of products falling broadly into two separate groups. Those that have variations and those that don't. An example of a product that has variations would be Tee Shirts. These come in different sizes and colors which the customer must select before adding it to the shopping cart, RED XXL for example. A music CD on the other hand is sold by title. There are no options to select. The customer can just find the CD they want to buy and then click on Add to Cart without needing any further information.
