Promotions

Discounts are offered to storefront customers through promotions. The Promotions page allows you to create and manage these discounts.

 

Each promotion can optionally have a coupon. These coupons have a unique code. The customer has to enter the code during the checkout process to apply the discount.

 

Six types of discounts can be offered:

 

1.A fixed amount off the total order value
2.A fixed amount off a product
3.A fixed amount off the total shipping value
4.A fixed amount off X if Y is purchased
5.A percentage off the total order value
6.A percentage off the product
7.A percentage off the total shipping value
8.A percentage off X if Y is purchased

 

Promotions can be applied cumulatively. Promotions with a lower Display Order are applied first.
