Promotions

Discounts are offered to the storefront customers through promotions. The Promotions page allows you to create and manage these discounts.

 

Each promotion can also be promoted through coupons. These coupons have a unique code. The customer has to enter the code during the checkout process to apply the discount.

 

Six types of discounts can be offered:

 

1.A fixed amount off the total order value
2.A fixed amount off a product
3.A fixed amount off the total shipping value
4.A percentage off the total order value
5.A percentage off the product
6.A percentage off the total shipping value

 

These and other aspects of the promotion can be managed on the Promotions page. Once the promotions are created, you can publish promotion details & coupon codes (if applicable) in a manner of your choice, for example through promotional emails and mailers, an advertisement etc.
